REV. WILLIAM REISTER is a 1981 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO with a Master of Divinity degree. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wartburg College in 1977 and spent his junior year of college as an exchange scholar at International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. In July of 1981 he was installed as the pastor of Bay Shore Lutheran Church in Miami, Florida where he met his wife Susan, a Lutheran School Teacher, Organist, and Choir Director. She is a 1975 graduate of Miami Dade Community College. They are blessed with two sons, Mark (Crystal) and Paul and one granddaughter, Abby. Pastor Bill is a professional harpist and together they praise God in song through their music ministry, “Celestial Strings”.   Susan is the Church Organist, Part-time Secretary, and directs the Church Choir and Bell Choir. Together they have served the Lord at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church since September of 1991.
