Second Sunday after Pentecost
“With the decline of Christianity it is only a matter of time that paganism with equally violent and destructive effects will rise to power in social, religious, and political ways. I hope that the conclusions of the book are wrong. We see strong leaders who are fighting against it in our country but also the strong opposition to the Christian faith and those who live by it. The Gospel for Sunday, however, reminds us that God’s Son Jesus is still in charge and has already defeated the devil. The victory has been won!” Pastor Bill

The Holy Trinity
Father’s Day
It is only through the Holy Spirit’s power that we are led to repent of sin and trust in Jesus Christ as our Savior. The Gospel for Sunday, John 8:48-59 tells us that even the Patriarch Abraham rejoiced to see Jesus’ day, the time when the promised Savior would come. He trusted that God would keep his promise. In Romans 16 St. Paul speaks the Gospel of Christ as “the mystery that was kept secret for long ages”. Thank God that you know Jesus. Mystery solved! What a joy it will be to see Him at last!

At this time we ask you to give whatever you can. Our Redeemer Lutheran’s missions reach out in many ways to our community, and we can’t do it without your ongoing support.
